Community Hub Office
The community hub office is open during these times for enquiries, to make an appointment, or for a chat. You can also call Monday-Thursday 09:00-17:00 or Friday 09:00-16:00
This project matches fully trained local volunteers with people who are feeling lonely or in need of support in the community. The volunteers call individuals regularly, go on walks, and support them to get involved in activities in the community. If you are interested in joining our team of volunteers, training for the G43 Befrienders project is starting in August 2021. If you can spare a couple of hours a week and would like to get involved, please contact us on 0141 649 9422 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

This is a very relaxing class where we practice breathing techniques and gentle movements to promote mindfulness. This class is currently on Zoom so get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org for login details.
We have been running a community garden project for 7 years! We have all kinds of vegetables, several beautiful fruit trees, and flowers. Anyone is welcome to come along and help out with gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting produce – no experience required! Some of the reported benefits of community gardening include better physical and mental health and well-being, a chance to meet new people and build friendships and a chance to take part in a positive community activity. You’re also welcome to just spend time in the garden, have a cuppa, listen to the birds, and chat with us whenever you fancy.
After a long break the Men’s Shed has started up again! Come along on Fridays from 12:00 to get involved or find out more.
PAN Crafts Group
Come along to try your hand at a variety of crafts including knitting, sewing, crochet, card making, drawing, and jewellery making. You’re also welcome to just come along for coffee and a chat! We look forward to seeing you.
